Clinics see your photos and answers, but not who you are. Only the one clinic you choose at the end gets your name and number. Here is exactly how it works.
The process in seven steps
At every step, the envelope shows where your contact details are.
1. Answer a few questions
A few short questions: which area bothers you, which picture fits best, where you could imagine having the treatment, then your price range, budget and timing, age, an earlier transplant, since when and what you have already tried. Your answers stay on your device until you save them with your email. You can stop at any time and continue later.

2. Take four photos
Clinics need photos to estimate the costs. For each photo we show you what matters.

No time right now? Then you first get a price range based on guide values and add the photos later via a link. Your request only goes out once all four are there.

3. Add your contact details and confirm your email
Name, email and, if you like, your phone number, so the clinic you choose can reach you later. You confirm that your photos and answers may go to suitable clinics without your name. Then we email you a link. Your request only becomes active once you confirm your address.

4. Clinics prepare offers
Up to three partner clinics at a time see your photos and answers. We invite clinics whose budget range matches your request, clinics in your preferred region first, in random order within that group. While we are starting out, we release every request individually. The clinics have 48 hours for an offer. If one declines or does not reply in time, another can take its place. You don't have to wait: we'll email you as soon as an offer arrives.

5. Compare the offers
In your account the offers sit side by side, all in the same format. Sorted by arrival, not by recommendation. No clinic pays for a better spot.

6. Choose a clinic, or none
If you like an offer, you choose the clinic and confirm sharing your contact a second time. Only then does exactly this clinic get your name and contact details. The others get nothing. If none fits, you simply don't choose one.

7. The clinic gets in touch
The clinic you chose contacts you to answer your questions and arrange a date. You sign the contract directly with them. Trichio does not operate and does not sell treatments. Your account keeps showing which clinic has your contact details.

How to read an offer
All clinics reply in the same format. That way you compare prices that really mean the same thing.
- Cost estimate
- One amount for the services in the offer. No “from”.
- Grafts
- How many hair follicles the clinic plans based on your photos. A range, because the exact number is only set on site.
- Who operates
- Whether a doctor performs the key steps personally, such as opening the channels, or leads the team. This is often the biggest difference between two prices.
- Included
- What the price covers: hotel, transfer, PRP, interpreter. You usually book the flight yourself.
Sharing your contact: two steps, no accidents
One tap never shares your contact details. After “Choose this clinic” we show you exactly what will happen.
- You see which details the clinic gets. The phone number is optional; without it the clinic contacts you by email.
- You share your contact with exactly one clinic. The others never learn your name.
- Once shared, it can't be taken back. From then on the clinic is responsible for your contact details.
When things go differently
Fewer than three offers arrive
Three is the maximum, not a guarantee. If only one or two clinics fit, you get those.
No offer arrives
That can happen. Your contact details stayed with you the whole time. Write to us and we'll look into what the reason might be.
No offer fits
Then you don't choose one. No clinic gets your contact details and you don't have to decline anything.
You want your data deleted
A short email to support@trichio.com is enough. We delete your request, your photos and your account.
What you can rely on
One fixed fee, the same for all
Clinics pay Trichio a fixed fee when they receive your contact after your release. It is the same for all of them and does not depend on the price of the treatment. So we have no reason to recommend a particular clinic.
Partner clinics accept fixed rules
Any clinic that wants to make offers declares that a doctor is responsible for the key steps and that a medical licence is in place, and states in every cost estimate what is included. The clinic is responsible for these statements; Trichio does not check them. In case of breaches, Trichio can end the partnership.

How the comparison works
Trichio is a commercial brokerage and information portal. Here is who sends you a cost estimate, how these clinics are selected and how we make money.
- At most three clinics
- For each request, at most three clinics at a time send a cost estimate. If one declines or does not answer within 48 hours, another can take its place.
- Partner clinics only
- Only clinics from our clinic directory that have signed a partner agreement with Trichio and accepted our participation terms are considered. This is not a complete market overview and not a statement of quality.
- How we select
- We invite clinics whose budget range fits your request. Clinics in your preferred region come first; within that group, chance decides. Ratings, ad budgets or payments play no part.
- No ranking, no recommendation
- Cost estimates appear in the order they arrive. We don't sort by price or quality and we don't recommend any clinic. You compare and decide yourself.
- How we make money
- Trichio is free for you. Clinics pay us a fixed fee per contact passed on, the same for all. It does not depend on the price of the treatment, nor on whether you go ahead with it. Clinics cannot buy a better position.
- Estimates, not binding offers
- Clinics only see your photos and answers. Their prices are therefore non-binding cost estimates, not a diagnosis and not a final medical offer. Nothing replaces the personal examination by the doctor on site.
Questions about the process
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. You can look at all the offers and not choose any clinic. Then none gets your contact details.
Can I stop halfway?
Yes. Your answers stay saved on your device. When you come back, you continue where you left off.
How long until offers arrive?
Clinics have 48 hours for their offer. Your account shows the exact deadline, and we'll email you as soon as an offer arrives.
Will anyone call me?
No, not as long as you haven't chosen a clinic. Until then no clinic has your number. The number is optional when sharing, too.
Why do you need my contact details at the start?
So we can send you the offers and set up your account, and so the clinic can reach you if you choose it. Until then, name, email and phone stay with us.
Can I choose a different clinic after sharing my contact?
You share your contact with exactly one clinic. If it doesn't work out with them, write to us and we'll clarify what's possible.
Are the prices really fixed?
The cost estimate applies to the services listed in it and is based on your photos. Grafts are a range, because the exact number only shows in the examination on site. The clinic gives you the binding price after that examination.
What does Trichio cost me?
Nothing. Clinics pay us a fixed fee per contact passed on, regardless of the price of the treatment. It is the same for all of them.
