The terms partner clinics accept.
Before a clinic sees a request at Trichio, it accepts these terms and declares that it meets them. Here you'll find what that means, what every offer must show and what Trichio does not check.
The four terms
A clinic declares that it meets all four. It is itself responsible for the accuracy of this declaration.
A doctor is responsible for the key steps.
A doctor performs or leads the opening of the channels, not just a technician team. The clinic states who is responsible for this.
Why it matters: The direction, angle and density of the channels determine how natural the result looks. These decisions belong in a doctor's hands.
Medical licence.
The clinic declares that the responsible doctor is licensed in the clinic's country.
Why it matters: A hair transplant is a medical procedure. The licence shows that the responsible doctor is allowed to perform it there.
Every service in the price listed.
The cost estimate applies to the services listed there. What's included, such as medication, aftercare or transfer, is stated in it.
Why it matters: Only when it's clear what a price includes can two offers be compared.
Methods, hygiene and aftercare described.
The clinic describes which methods it offers (FUE, DHI, sapphire) and how hygiene and aftercare work. JCI accreditation is not a requirement.
Why it matters: Those who can't describe their processes often don't have them under control. And the months after surgery matter as much for the result as the day of surgery.
Who operates: three levels, disclosed in the offer
Not every clinic's doctor performs every step personally. That's why every clinic must state how its doctor is involved. You see the level in every offer.
Operates personally
The doctor performs the surgery personally, including the key steps.
Opens the channels personally
The doctor makes the channels personally and so determines direction and density. A team helps with extraction and placement.
Plans and supervises the surgery
The doctor plans the procedure and supervises the team carrying out the steps. This is the minimum requirement.
You decide which level matters to you. The clinic states the level itself. If in doubt, ask the clinic.
What every offer must show
All clinics reply in the same format. That way you compare prices that mean the same thing:
Finding a clinic: checklist- the cost estimate for the listed services
- the planned graft range for your case
- the method: FUE, sapphire FUE or DHI
- how the doctor is involved and, if given, their name
- what's included: hotel, transfer, PRP, interpreter
- how many procedures the clinic performs per day, if it has stated this
How a clinic becomes a partner
Details
The clinic provides details on its licence, doctors, methods and scope of services.
The clinic's declaration
The clinic accepts the participation terms and warrants that its details are accurate. Only then can it submit an offer for a case.
In case of breaches
If Trichio learns that a clinic is not meeting the terms, Trichio can end the partnership.
Clinics are excluded where
- the critical surgical steps are done only by technicians without medical supervision
- the cost estimate leaves out services that later cost extra
- the clinic can't prove its licence
What clinics can't buy from us
A better spot
Offers appear in the order they arrive. There is no ranking and no paid highlighting.
A recommendation
We don't recommend any clinic. All partner clinics pay the same referral fee, so we have no reason to favour one.
Your contact details
No clinic gets your name or number before you choose it. Not even for money.
What Trichio does not check
The terms are rules for taking part, not a quality check and not a guarantee. For you, that means:
- Trichio does not check the clinics' details for accuracy, neither on paper nor on site. Where Trichio takes individual details from public registers, this is shown with source and date. The clinic alone is responsible for its details. No one can guarantee a result; it also depends on your donor area and your healing.
- The terms do not replace medical advice. Whether a procedure is right for you is something you clarify with the clinic you choose.
- You sign the contract directly with the clinic. It is responsible for the treatment and all details about it. Have the doctor, licence and services confirmed in writing before you book.
If something isn't right
Did a clinic do something differently from its offer, or do you have a bad impression? Write to us at support@trichio.com. If a clinic does not meet the terms, Trichio can end the partnership. Any claims arising from the treatment should be addressed directly to the clinic.
Questions about the terms
Does every clinic need JCI accreditation?
No. Some partner clinics have one, but it is not a requirement.
Does Trichio check whether the details are accurate?
No. The clinics provide their details themselves and are responsible for them. If Trichio learns of a breach of the terms, Trichio can end the partnership.
Can I see which doctor operates?
Every offer shows how the doctor is involved, as stated by the clinic. We include the name if the clinic provides it. If in doubt, ask the clinic once you have chosen it.
Do clinics pay for a better spot?
No. Cost estimates appear in the order they arrive. All clinics pay the same fixed fee per contact passed on.
Why aren't all clinics in a city included?
Clinics can take part if they accept our participation terms, submit offers in the same format and have signed a partner agreement with a referral fee with us. That isn't all of them; our comparison is not a complete market overview.
What if I have a bad experience with my clinic?
Write to us at support@trichio.com. The clinic you signed the contract with is responsible for the treatment itself. Any claims arising from the treatment are also addressed to that clinic.
