Is Trichio really completely free for me?
Yes — our service is free and non-binding for you. We fund the platform through a fixed referral fee that clinics pay per contact passed on. It is the same for all clinics and does not depend on the price of the treatment.
What does a hair transplant roughly cost?
It depends on the extent of hair loss and the country. Our cost guide shows ranges by Norwood stage. The clinics send you a cost estimate for your photos. See cost factors
What if fewer than three offers arrive, or none suits me?
Three offers are the maximum, not a guarantee. If only one or two clinics fit, you receive those. You do not have to book. Contact details go to a clinic only when you choose it.
Do clinics organise flight and hotel?
Often yes, especially for clinics abroad: hotel and transfers are then listed in the offer, and you usually book the flight yourself. What is included is only in that clinic’s offer. You may receive one, two, or at most three offers.
Clinics and treatment
Who performs the surgery — the doctor or assistants?
With partner clinics, critical steps such as channel creation should be performed or closely supervised by a doctor. Placement is often done by experienced OR teams. Who does what in your case is stated in the offer — this does not replace on-site medical counselling.
How do I recognise serious clinics?
Look at who is responsible for the critical surgical steps, which services the price includes and how aftercare is described. Ask the clinic to confirm this in writing. Our participation terms ask for exactly these points. Participation terms for clinics
How many grafts do I need?
It depends on hair loss and the donor area and is individual. From photos, partner physicians can give a preliminary estimate — not a binding diagnosis and not an exact count. The final plan is made at the clinic.

How does aftercare work if the clinic is abroad?
Many partner clinics support the months after via message or video. Some name partner physicians in Germany, Austria or Switzerland for local check-ups. What is promised is only in that clinic’s offer.
Is there a guarantee that the hair will grow?
Trichio does not offer a growth guarantee and does not treat. Some clinics state regrowth rates in their own quote. The conditions are only there.
When can I go back to work after the procedure – and when do the scabs fall off?
Many patients plan about 10–14 days; that is a rough guide, not a medical rule. Recovery and fitness for work depend on the procedure and the clinic’s advice.
Your data
Who sees my photos?
Up to three clinics at a time that can make you an offer. If one declines or does not reply in time, another can take its place. All without name, email and phone number.
Who gets my contact details?
Only the clinic you choose. If you choose none, none gets them.
Where is my data stored?
The database and photos are on servers in the EU. The website, email delivery and our company are based in the USA, and some partner clinics are outside the EU.
Can I have everything deleted?
